Spirit of Christmas Show

Makenzie performed this weekend in the Spirit of Christmas show at Mesa Center for the Arts and Gammage Auditorium. Her numbers were Santa Claus is coming to Town, 12 days of Christmas, Seals, Jingle Bell Rock, Ring Those Christmas Bells and Finale. She was such a trooper....she woke up the morning before the show and we found out she had strep throat. We got her on antibiotics right away and she made it through the show the following day. She loves to dance and I LOVE to watch her. I am so proud of her. Thanks to all our family and friends for coming to the show and supporting her.
Makenzie loves that she gets to dance with one of her best buddies, Sydney

Brad's Birthday and An Early Thanksgiving Feast

On the Monday before Thanksgiving we had the Strattons over for an early Thanksgiving feast. It was the first time I cooked a turkey all by myself. I have to say that I was rather disgusted by the raw bird but the final product was delicious and the leftovers were even better.
Uncle Brad celebrated his birthday on November 8 and this evening we took the opportunity to celebrate it with him and Wendy while the whole family was together. Madison and Makenzie made him a chocolate birthday cake. Happy Birthday Brad! We love you!
We were so thankful to have Grandma Peggy and Grandpa Spud join us!
We love the two of you and miss you like crazy!

The Stratton Boys
Such a great group of men. I am so proud of them It was nice to start our Thanksgiving celebrations early and spend some time hanging out.
I was especially thankful to have all of us together.
