Halloween
I knew this day was coming, but didn't realize how quickly it would happen. Madison went and hung with her friends and met up with us later in the evening. The younger kids stayed with us and we went trick or treating in a neighborhood next to ours. We closed up our house so it was nice that Brendon and I got to go out with the kids together.
First Halloween
With Kolton being born it has inspired my family to pull out the photo albums and look at pictures of the kids when they were little. I thought it would be fun to post my kids first halloween. It seems like just yesterday......what happened?????

Babysitting Kolton
If someone didn't know me and hopped on my blog, without reading they would probably think he's my baby. I seem to have more pictures of him and talk about my sweet nephew all the time. I love babies and have cherished every second I have spent with him. He's absolutely precious and it's a great way for me to get my "baby fix". I miss my kids being little.....they grow up so fast. One afternoon I watched Kolton so Kayla and Aaron could go to lunch and a movie. During the few hours I held him the whole time!!!! No kidding! Other than to change his diaper, I sat on the couch and held him while he slept. I was in heaven! I never sat that long with my own kids. How different I would do things if I could go back and do it over again!

Meeting Miracle Kolton
It was an exciting day for my kiddos.......Kolton was home for a few weeks getting stronger everyday and growing like a weed. My sister and her husband have to be very careful with him being around germs and was basically quarantined to his house so he wouldn't get sick. Kolton was a baby my kids heard about for months but they finally got to meet him and hold him. I love the way babies know when there's a little kid around and they just stare at the other little people. It was so cute! He was mesmerized by his cousins. The first time Madison held him she cried happy tears......it was so sweet.

Gopher Hunting in Pinetop
For fall break this year we spent our time up north at the cabin. It was such a relaxing time and a great escape from the school rush. Brendon was stuck home working and we missed him so much! We noticed gopher holes in the surrounding fields around the cabin so the kids went out to see if they could catch one. Their time didn't last very long, but I think their attempt was hilarious. It must be the slippers and the fishing net that was the problem. Haha!Monday, October 4, 2010

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Her director asked for huge hair like Fran Drescher from The Nanny! Mission accomplished!

During the weekend of September 30, Madison performed in her middle school production: Willy Wonka: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Her role was Mrs. Teave and she was hilarious. It was such a great experience for her and she met some new wonderful friends. Her robot move during the dance scene was classic. I have to figure out how to get that clip on the blog.....it's so funny!
