Another fun day at the lake

Today we spent another great day on the lake. I am so thankful we have the opportunity to beat the Arizona heat and spend time as a family with such fun times like wakeboarding, tubing and swimming with our "diapers". We were able to talk my mom and Kandra into joining us out on the water before Kandra headed back to California. Kandra wakeboarded and got up the first time! We were so proud of her. Below is the links to the videos.

Thanks mom and Kandra for joining us. We had a blast!

Petite Miss Dance of America

I know! I know! I'm so far behind on my blog. I'm not sure how many people even come check it anyways. I use it mostly for family journaling but I know there are a few of you out there that ask me when I'm going to update it. I'm sorry I'm so far behind.

As many of you know, Makenzie gave up her Petite Miss Dance of America title in Orlando, Florida this summer. Above is the speech/slide show that was presented during her "big" evening. And below is the link to her solo she performed that night.

It brings tears to my eyes every time I watch her.

Love you Twinkle Toes!

Family staycation

The weekend after school started, we went on a family staycation with the Burns family. Our days were filled poolside enjoying each other and the hotel games and competitions. The kids stayed with us for one night and then the mommy's and daddy's had a night to themselves.

First day of school

It seems like every year we come home kicking and screaming because we don't want to leave our relaxing stay in Pinetop. The smell of pine and the beautiful AZ sunsets and cool weather of up north make us never want to leave. But like we always do, we came home a few days before the last day of school so the kids can get smarter at school. :)
