Halloween

Oh Halloween! What a fast and crazy night you always are. This year was busy as always, but it was also the first time we let Madison go trick or treating with her friends on her own (no adult chaperone). She had a few friends over after school to get ready, then a few more came and had pizza before heading out for candy. Madison was a hippy. Makenzie was a ballerina. Hunter was a sumo wrestler. They are growing up so fast.

Hunter with his buddy Kyle. Hunter's costume was a product of me taking him to the Halloween store late one evening. I was tired, didn't feel like arguing with him so a sumo wrestler costume came home with us. I have to admit, the costume was hilarious on him. It was as wide as he was tall and the two of them waddling down the street for candy was priceless.

Earlier in the week, I went with Kayla, Aaron and Kolton to the pumpkin patch.

Isn't he the cutest lil' punkin you've ever seen!

Cruisin' Time

My parents celebrated their 40th Wedding Anniversary this year on September 11, 2011. To celebrate they took all of us on a mediterranean cruise. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Over a ten day period, we visited London, Barcelona, Italy and France. We have over 3,000 pictures from our adventure, so this blog only captures a little of the excitement and fun we had.

Amalfi Coast: One of my favorite places in the whole world!

Rome, Italy: Another of my favorite places!Pompeii

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MOM AND DAD!

Thank you for an unforgettable trip of a lifetime! We love you guys!

Just for laughs!

Had to put this picture in here for anyone who needs a good laugh on a bad day. We were preparing to go to Europe in October for my parents 40th Anniversary so I went through our old files to find the kids passports that we got made a few years ago. I forgot how funny Hunter's picture was. While traveling through Europe we had quite a few marshalls giggle at his picture as we entered the different countries. It became a family game: "How many people will comment on Hunter's picture?" As they checked us into each country, we sat and watched in anticipation of their reaction. Hunter, buddy, we love you! This picture is classic and makes me smile every time I see it!
